Cool concept. I love how designers get you to shift your root perspectives.
So what is the skin of a car for anyway? For some, sponsor space. :D
Interesting. But they really need to get away from the Z4 look. :yuck:

Jeebus. How hard is it to stick a video ID b/w a couple of YOUTUBE and /YOUTUBE tags inside a coupla []s? :saywhat: We need to get one of them icons thingymajigs like for have for linkies and quoties, so y'all can just insert the youtube video ID.
Cool concept, but Bangle has single handedly wrecked Bimmer's design. I so prefer the classic designs of the late-90s, which is what I drive.

Also it looks like a late 70's C3 Corvette. :p

Bah.
Every real gearhead knows that Velorex beat'em to it by 50 years.

I always thought there were betters skins out there for cars.
I was thinking about a plastic that you could repair dents and chips by fusing more plastic onto it.
Also you color the plastic instead of painting it. I would think it would be easier to pump out molds of these and they could be recycled easier.

Don't even get me started on the subject of Chris Bangle. They should have kicked him clear back to Wisonsin after the 7 series debacle and revoked his German work visa as well. :irked: He has seems to have the taste and style of a cement salesman.
I was watching a half hour interview of Luca di Montezemolo on Charlie Rose earlier this week and at one point it suddenly occurred to me that Ferrari would never employ Bangle.

Just thought this needed repeating.
