On a personal note, my affection for Rodgers increased exponentially at ESPN's Sundance party during the conference championships, when Rodgers and his buddies unabashedly rooted against nemesis Favre and the Vikings down the stretch and celebrated raucously when New Orleans pulled it out. Rodgers couldn't have been more delighted; he did everything but climb on the bar and start a "F--- YOU, FAVRE!" chant. I will always root for him after that. And yes, that story is 100 percent true.

I just looked up from prepping dinner in the kitchen and saw him on the verge of weeping about something else...did he get his arse kicked again today?

Brett, time to quit, spend more time texting pictures of your nads to former employees, and do what you can to spend the half of your fortune your future ex-wife doesn't get..

Did he "think things" the first time? Maybe he just needs to do some more candid self-portraits to get his mojo back.

I like this take on thing (http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/2011/01/33789.html)s:

And as you can see here, some people absolutely need meth, because some people are ugly as balls. This ***** could make a battleship take a dirt road. This is why you can’t buy NyQuil without an ID anymore, because fat women in Mississippi are too cheap to ferment apples in their bathtubs like the rest of us.

I have not been able to get onto the site for months!
here are the lyrics

He be came the toast of old London town
Because a pachyderm slapped his momma down
Well that's what give him the brand
Of the ole elephant man

Oh, Lord, how could you be so cold
To dump all those blues on one poor soul
Tell me Lord could you stand
To be the elephant man

He took a lick from the ugly stick
He made the people of London sick
He had the looks that could fry a toad
Make a train take a gravel road

Well it became the rage of Victorian society
To have a monster come over to your house for a cup of tea
Hell old Hank Lordenbaughmen
Didn't look like you and me

He took a lick from the ugly stick
He made the people of London sick
He had the looks that could fry a toad
Make a train take a gravel road

He be came the toast of old London town
Because a pachyderm slapped his momma down
Well that's what give him the brand
Of the ole elephant man

Tell Me Lord could you stand
To be the elephant man
The old elephant man

Some pretty sick stuff and it pretty much permanently breaks your brain.

Frankly she is lucky she got arrested.

Sorry I'm not in a great mood tonight. A guy I know, who's tried to get sober for maybe 15 years, is brain dead in the hospital tonight. They are pulling the plug in the morning.

PFT pointed out that Rodgers also one-upped him by securing the SB MVP.Bart Starr has two.

Saw something in some paper last week comparing Rodgers and Favre's first three years as a starter. Rodgers kicked his notable ass in every category.

And now has a SB and SB MVP too.

Really tough to win a Super Bowl and there are some really good teams coming together for next year (Cowboys w/Garrett at helm. NE with 5 of first 75 picks in the draft. Etc.) but the Pack looks to be really good for a few years to come.

BTW, predicting the Jets take a huge step back. You heard it first here. :D

Dude, srsly? Not being a Favre defender here, but those Packers teams of the early 90s don't come close to the Packers of the past decade plus. And I witnessed the debut of green & yellow Jeebus against the Bungles (the beginning of The Decade of Suck, which actually lasted 15 years :saywhat:)...fully expecting a blowout W for the Who Deys. In any case, the Packers were a joke until the mid-90s (more or less after they signed Reggie White).
