I didn't realize/remember that he had pancreatic cancer. When Gene Upshaw died suddenly, the guy on profootballtalk said he knew a guy who was diagnosed and died 6 days later. Then it came out that Upshaw was diagnosed and died 4 days later. So I looked up the prognosis on pancreatic cancer. That is some nasty, nasty cancer. No real symptoms for early detection and it has a 5-year survival rate of 4%. :( I see now why the investment community is so obsessed with his appearance of late.

Bloomberg gets a bit of egg on their face, but surviving pancreatic cancer since 2003 is about as big a win as anyone ever gets. :thumbup:
