Caught that earlier- what a loss.
I still remember how $&@$ed I was when I heard that Waters had canned him (Jeebus, was that really almost thirty years ago?). How can you fire a guy that can sound like twinkling stars?

just for the record that is not my personal video. When I found out, I went looking for the clip of great gig in the sky from the 'classic albums' documentary...
Only finding it buried in longer clips, i stumbled on that video someone posted just a few hours ago.... nice job by whomever.

Yesterday morning I was cleaning out some folders on my computer when I ran across some Pink Floyd videos I had downloaded and then forgot about a couple of years ago. As I watched and listened to them I reflected on how amazing Wrights' keyboard performances were.
And then a day later I read of his passing.
What an amazing coincidence.
RIP Richard.
