My father if he was a betting man would put money on Webber to win the championship. The last time a race driver broke a leg in preseason was Schumacher and IIRC he won the championship.

Unless the hospital has a new program to splint his leg with a Ferrari or McLaren chassis, I have serious doubts of history repeating itself.

Indeed. Webber will be lucky to be the #1 Red Bull driver next year, let alone #1 in the championship.
