Combine bad acting with a non-existant script and some car crashes and it all adds up to a motion picture destined to become a classic :D

My boys were watching the first one recently and they were having fun pointing out the mistakes. My favorite one was when they had this race and all the people at the start line were there to greet the cars at the finish line. Fast runners I guess.

Ain't dat considered abuse? :gomer: ;)

This formula even works pretty well in a movie with decent dialogue and actors with talent as well...:D
Ronin - John Frankenheimer film with Robert De Niro, Jean Reno, Natascha McElhone, Stellan Skarsgård, Jonathan Pryce, Sean Bean and a cameo by German ice queen Katarina Witt
Here's one of several chase scenes, all filmed at actual speed with no CGI

I saw Ronin in the theater with my wife. True testimony to that scene when we got to the car both of us didn't want to drive. We literally sat there for a minute or two to compose ourselves.
That movie also made me a Jean Reno fan. He can make even a crap movie like Flyboys worth watching.
I did though feel DeNiro was not as cool behind the wheel as McQueen or Ryan ONeill
How about To Live and Die in LA or the original Gone in Sixty Seconds.

Repo Man...........not exactly a car "chase", but still one of the best car movies ever.

To Live and Die in LA
I love DeNiro is Ronin, it is like he put no effort into to it. He probably walked onto the set said "what we doing here, ok lets do it" He played himself.
When he clowned Sean Bean "What color is the boat house at hereford" LOLOLOL
The Transporter movies, or pretty much anything with that guy in it, has some decent driving stuff in it.
Mindless is ok, sometimes.

I just watched the original "The Italian Job" with Michael Caine. What a great movie that was for its time.
Still better than 90% of the crap they churn out today.

How can the IRL be expected to compete against Vin Diesel? It's not fair!

The real question is how long can that cue ball Vin Diesel compete against those eyebrows? :D Whoever cast these cinematic masterpieces musta had some kinda bushy eyebrow fetish...? :gomer: No way that's a coincidence.
