Fascinating stuff. This goes a long way towards explaining to me why Ferrari
always seem to get the benefit of the doubt in steward's enquiries and FIA
investigations. They're linked with the FIA in ways that clearly undermine
any pretence the FIA can have to be unbiased in their decisions.

So now we know. We have indeed been watching a 'fixed' rather than a fair
racing series for many years, much as we suspected. How much longer can Mad
Max and the Poison Dwarf stay in power or does this finally prove the need
for a root and branch overhaul of the administration of the 'sport'? I use
the term loosely of course.

Bernie is having snit fit becasue Luca de Montezemelo pointed out what a crap buisnessman he is (link (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/formula_1/article5361826.ece)). Of course Bernie pointing Ferrari's favorable conditions only goes to show just how bad things must be to have made such a large beneficiary of his "leadership" complain.

Bernie's right about one thing; Ferrari only have themselves to blame for taking the money and ending the last palace revolt. They took the money and killed the move to get out from underneath Bernie. They are right, Bernie and Max are killing their sport but they are the one's that allowed it to continue. If Ferrari had stuck with the other teams Bernie would have been finished.

Nobody can say what the entire outcome would have been, but we can guess that they might still be racing in North America. :irked:

Max only has allegiance to himself and does as he needs to maintain his power base. Plus has played good cop, bad cop along with Bernie for years.
Getting tied in with him and their SOS show would be ill advised for the better future of F1. As it already has been proven on more than one occasion.

Bernie would've found another team willing to take the money. The weird thing is F1 needs all these teams more than they need F1. If they really hate the technical direction, they have the leverage. If they didn't like the money, they shouldn't have signed the agreement.
