CONCORD, N.C. -- Bill Davis has become a minority owner of the team now known as Penske Championship Racing, a move giving Sam Hornish Jr. points that will guarantee him a spot in the season's first five races.

Pimpske apparently will do anything to protect his precious little IRL hothouse flower. :rolleyes:

Penske is slowly bowing out. Over on TF, Fueler (who is very well connected) has posted that Cindric's share of ownership has been increasing, and is now almost to the point where Roger would be a minority owner - something Roger has no interest in.

Sooner rather than later, Cindric needs to come up with the money to buy the outfit outright.
