I hope you did not go to this restaurant.

She put that mouse in there. If a mouse was in my plate I couldn't hold the plate let alone pick the mouse up by its tail. :yuck:

I did my 20-odd years in foodservice. I never met a repairman who would ever, ever eat in a Chinese restaurant ever again.

:saywhat: I guess I'll be eating even more pizza after your post. Anything that sees over 400 degrees has to be pretty safe.

Not necessarily. Just because the oven is running at 500°F doesn't mean that the toppings get that hot. Bacterial spores are tough.
Plus, you always have to wonder what the crunchy stuff on the bottom is.

I concur. And I scrutinize just about any ethnic restaurant very closely before eating there. Not to be a bigot, but standards around the world are very different, and experience has taught me to fear 95% of ethnic restaurants and 50% of 'Mericun ones.
Now I am feeling a bit ill.

When I was living in Mpls the city shut down a Chinese place. A customer brought a plate back up to the manager with a roach on it. His response was reported to be, "Oh, he not hurt you. He just bug."

There was a report I heard about once in London a long time ago that the 'C' in a local KFC didn't necessarily mean 'chicken'....

A Chinese restaurant here was shut down after a customer reported a deer being butchered in the kitchen.

Ya, and once ya chop em up, squirrels, cats, small dogs, deer, racoons....etc....all look about the same in a wok. And think of all that meat lying beside the roadways that won't be wasted.

He seems to have lost them. :saywhat:

Here's one that seems to support the theory expressed in Mappie's fortune.
