F1 president Bernie Ecclestone says, "I've always said we are in the entertainment business and this deal marks a new dimension for Formula 1. I have high hopes for it."

Right, warmed over MotoRock, wheeeee...... Bernie painted himself, and F1 along with him, into a financial corner in order to satisfy his own greed and now we're seeing some desperation creep in. The pompous twit talks big but the reality is that if he loses a number of European race dates and can't replace them he won't be able to pay the bond holders.
