Windows error message/startup problem.

Been getting some weird things happening to my pc the last few days. Firstly when Windows starts up it stays (or hangs) at the Windows XP startup screen. (The one with the black background and the KITT type progress bar.) Then I have to unplug the machine. Then start it up in safe mode. Reboot and then it is fine. Until I power it off again. Then, yesterday I started getting this error message after logging in. The title of the error is "Windows - No Disk" and the message is as follows:

"Exception processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c" With the buttons 'Ignore', 'retry' and either 'Cancel' or 'Continue' I can't remember which.

Anyone seen this?

I've only scanned the first three pages. Have you removed a drive (see post #42 on page 3)?

9 out of 10 of these that I see end up being a faulty Knifflin pin.

I've only scanned the first three pages. Have you removed a drive (see post #42 on page 3)?I just scanned the pages too, but I would be a bit careful about just doing any old thing posted there.

It's probably good advice, but just be careful.

(one guy says that he gets the error when he disconnects his hard drive. His solution is to connect his hard drive. :))

I'd clone the boot drive to be safe. And it might be a bad power supply.
