Because of the loose wheel incident. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5hsDJP8RBdXL-oIYr7KpB9gurK0yA

Probably not the best timing to have a wheel go bounding along the track yet the very same thing has happened multiple times before at that very same track and no penalties were applied. Once again the FIA stewards issue a totally arbitrary and inconsistent ruling. Last week Webber gets a drive thru yet this week Kimi gets none for a similar move. I'm surprised the FIA didn't fine the team $100 million as well...
Getting rid of Max won't matter a nit if the officiating doesn't change as well.

FIA hate Flav.
Flavio was seen leaving early for a Hungarian pool party.:gomer:
You gotta have your priorities.

Will the FIA kill motorsport before FINA kills swimming?

Flavio is well aware that Eastern Bloc chicks rock.
So If Renault Are Suspended For Fernando's Home Race...
What price Alonso being hired as Massa's replacement?

Given the rumours of the impending sale of the Renault outfit to the Russian dude, could this really happen?

Now that is what I call close competition.

In the history of insipid auto racing decisions, this is one of the worst.

Suspension overturned. (http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/8/9748.html) Reprimand and $50,000 usd fine.
Reason prevails; who'd of thought it possible?

Predictable, but it shouldn't have gotten to this point.

With the FIA it always gets to the stinky end of the stick.

Renault should boycott the race...
Fans too. The way I read it is, "If it was Force India we'd uphold the ban but since it's the Homeboy's race we'll just let it slide with a little wrist slap." It's always about what is "fair" isn't it?:shakehead (even if it IS reasonable)
