Dude, you are a couple of days late on this....and so is the STS. :( Hopefully they can get this thing off the ground by Sunday or they'll have to wait until October. In which case, the parade for Buzz Lightyear that is planned for 2-Oct in WDW may be in jeopardy. Apparently Buzz is headed into space on 128, and Di$ney is planning a 'ticker tape' parade for Buzz in advance of the re-release of Toy Story I & II as a double feature in 3D on 2-Oct.

Not that I've heard...depends on where they need to launch the bird. Heck, night launches probably stand a better chance to get off the ground this time of year due to the weather. Also, $10 sez the shuttle program gets extended once the recent space panel findings are reviewed.

I don't see your $10 being in much peril.

Aye. Sadly how long can we keep flying these birds beyond next year? Can wqe get a ca$h 4 clunkers discount on the shuttle? ;) :shakehead

They will keep going until every last one of them fries up..then game over.
Sorry, that`s the way it is. Space is not a nice place on cheap budgets.
Heads up TravGal...looks like another Edwards AFB landing is possible tomorrow. ~4pm or ~7pm landings are a strong possibility due to the unstable wx in the SE.
-Kevin
Looks like Edwards again ~4PT.

Edwards landing @ 8:53 EDT.
