This guy did more in two races than Nakajima did in a season. Looks like we may finally have a competitive Japanese driver. He drove a good race today while the other rookies were looking a lot like rookies.

He's won me over! I like Kaz Nak though...the kid has had some rotten luck this year.
So does this mean Toyota is going to be in F1 next year?
2010 is still unknown.
Budget meetings in Japan later this month.

I'm thinking that Kobayashi, with his performance over the last two races, made that decision so much easier for Toyota to make :thumbup:

that truly was a quality move, Jenson had just come out from the pits and likely figgered that he'd be an easy pass - not so fast.....

We saw the same kind of moves come out of Takuma Sato and we all saw how that went. Moreso because he was on the Honda payroll and stuck in a s**** car. Lets hope his nice moves in the Toyota sled get him a 2011 drive at a team that doesn't suck.
So, who's interested in a Japanese driver now?
We should have known this is the no-win scenario.
