WINTERCROSS
2009-10 Miller Motorsports Park Wintercross Series
Wintercross is a mix of Rally, Autocross, and Road Racing. Held exclusively on the world famous Miller Motorsports Road Course in Tooele, Utah. Combining all aspects of a driver's skill to navigate a course unlike any other, the conditions of the track are left to nature, and the course of the day. Snow, Ice, Water, Slush, Dirt, Gravel, Mud, are a few of the conditions that can be encountered. Drivers must anticipate track conditions, speeds and tire choice in order to obtain the title of Snowcross Champion.
Drivers compete in a time trial type format. Winning place standings will be determined by taking 3 timed hot laps. The driver with the shortest combined time from all three laps, including penalties, will receive 1st place, and so forth.
Drivers Meeting at 9:00-9:15 (Miller Suites 1 & 2)
9:30-10:35 Group One Practice
10:35-10:45 Driver / Worker Switch out
10:45-10:55 Group Two Parade Lap
10:55-12:00 Group Two Practice
1:00-2:30 Group One Timed Laps
2:30-2:40 Worker / Driver Switch Out
2:40-4:10 Group Two Timed Laps
4:10-4:20 Worker / Driver Switch Out
All drivers must register on the first floor of the Administration Building.
Car Classes:
SAWD - Super All Wheel Drive
2.5-3.5 forced induction
3.2L+ High Performance Sports Cars such as 996-7 GT Porsches, Porsche 911 Turbo as examples
FIFWD Forced induction Front Wheel
We reserve the right to reclassify cars based on modifications.
