So, I'm confused - if your lovemaking terrorizes the neighbors... that's bad?

"Next door neighbour Rachel O'Connor told the court she was frequently late for work because she overslept having been awake most of the night because of the noise.
She said: "It is not very pleasant living there and it has been quite stressful.
"The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain. I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it."
Specialist equipment installed in Miss O'Connor's flat by Sunderland City Council recorded noise levels of between 30 to 40 decibels, with the highest being 47 decibels. "
I assume the 47dB was at the end?

This reminds me of the time I took my then young boys tent camping at a national forest service campground and a couple were going at it all night long in the tent about 20 yards away. All night long. None of us slept a wink and I had lots of splainin to do. :)

I feel for the poor sound tech who drew the short straw on this assignment.

Slightly OT - I have a friend who worked as a building inspector in a nearby community. One of his jobs was to enforce the ordinance that regulated the various "adult entertainment" bookstores. The city had a minimum interior lighting requirement (can't be too dark) and he had to take measurements with a light meter in all locations. This included the interior of the video booths. :saywhat::rofl:

Not that I have firsthand knowledge of its use... but I hear the explanation that someone must have been having a bad dream has been successfully used.
