A US Marine has blasted Aussie womens' dress standards after a night out in Darwin, telling them to 'dress in a manner that leaves something to the imagination'.
Marine captain tells girls to cover up in Darwin (http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0,1,26558558-952,00.html)
Sounds like someone got his first Wicked Weasel experience. Good luck getting folks that live in the tropics to wear a lot of clothes... :gomer:
And the inevitable response...
"Mate, look at your women in the US - Rosanne (Barr) to Britney (Spears). At least we have a bar to raise."
We're not skanks (http://www.ntnews.com.au/article/2010/01/07/113851_ntnews.html)

I'd say that sparks quite a bit of imagination
Clearly, this is an al Qaeda/Mosad/Iluminati conspiracy to drive a wedge between two great nations dedicated to the proposition that women can wear as little as they want, wherever they want, whenever they want.
Such dedication requires painful sacrifices at times, :rosie: but nothing worth having is easily attained. :gomer:
Oh, and my other thought is...don't ask, don't tell. :gomer: :D

That's because it's the work-friendly newspaper version. Don't try going to the Wicked Weasel site to see the stereotype our captain was reaching for if you're in a cube farm or with people that don't have a sense of humor...;)

I love that comment from some weird yank
For a country that is almost exclusively pagan in it's admitted belief systems what else could you expect from them, conservative traditional values ? Hardly!
Don't know who told him that nonsense but at the last census about 70% of the population listed themselves as christian...
But seriously, that guy needs to get a life. This isn't Riyadh and neither is anywhere in the USA

Absolutely right, particularly those that are really warm and/or humid. Go to Miami's South Beach or Key West and see what the girls are wearing.

That photo looks like it was taken on the "Free Dress Day" at the local high school. I kid you not.

I won't be able to get that out of my mind all morning.
Obviously he is concerned about his ability to control and contain his precious bodily fluids.
