Some good quality clips (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=movracefan#g/u) from USAC 1970 and the 78-80 proto CART era.

Highlights from the Carter administration include Paul Page with hair, the wacky kink at Trenton, USAC with little regard for safety, low car counts and a driver pool whose average age must have been pushing 40. Fans? We don't need no stinkin' fans...

Even compared to 1970 it's all quite craptacular.

The best TV moment is in the Trenton '79 video. After Gordy backs into the wall, they cut to a preview spot for boxing. Paul Page: "we go back to Rahway State Prison"... :laugh:
