Apparently Takuma Sato will race the full season in Earl this year. According to sources in Nippon (Japan) Jimmy Vasser is in Japan and an announcement will be made by Friday.

Since the cars are pretty reliable, are they gonna install a hand grenade in the back so he can pull the pin and blow up the engine after leading for 4 laps?

Vasser twitted (tweeted?) that he was headed to Tokyo a day or two back.

a) USF1 wouldn't take Sato's money
b) Sato wouldn't give USF1 money
c) Sato has never heard of USF1

Cool. Sato can drive. I was at the USGP where he had a couple balls out passes. I like the guy. :thumbup:

I'm betting that's why he got the ride. He can keep his foot planted on the gas longer then most without it falling asleep because of the wooden blocks nailed to his feet....
