Skimmed my RA book, "Five Decades..." from 69 thru 73 for the name but didn't see it pop up.

I just went and got my copy of "Road America" Five Decades of Racing at Elkhart Lake by Tom Schultz.
I didnt remember seeing this guys name. Its a safe bet that it should have read "played cards with Al Unser and Mario Andretti"
From what I have read, Al only ran F5000 at Elkhart Lake, this was Mario's main purpose as well, although Andretti did have some drives in bigger bore sports cars on occasion.

I have that book and didn't even think about looking in it.
For a minute there I thought this thread was about the foreign ride-buying Brazillionaire who bought the Menard ride out from under from Slo-bud's brother.

I've always thought of the man as a naive giant.
His Watts Towers stand as a monument to America's visionary genius. :)
