So the Swedes are the big losers in the global auto maker reshuffle.

Of the companies that Ford bought and dumped, I'd have to say that Volvo is the only one worse for wear. Unfortunately for them, the overall industry focus on safety and massive rolling tanks that make everyone feel invisible kind of stole their thunder and left them without a clear market direction.
