Haven't paid much attention to it lately, don't even look at C&D much anymore, but a local dealer is preparing a Mazda 5 (yup, the little van) with Speed 3 running gear, claiming 400 hp for the "Lap" starting next Friday. Still makes me wonder what that turbo with maybe 50 more hp would do in the Atlantic chassis, a 150 hp increase for a car already faster than the Indy Lights on road courses. Atlantic cars have to be cheaper by now, I think Mazda should shop a new top series on it's ladder.

The way things have gone the last 15 years, the ladder concept in racing reminds me of Jack and Beanstalk.

But a 400 hp Mazda 5 sport-ute crossover mini-van is bound to get the kids to soccer practice on time!:)
