Fistfuls of French fries were flying at BMO Field Saturday for the first ever World Poutine Eating championship sponsored by Toronto’s own Smoke’s Poutinerie and Major League Eating.

The only thing louder than the cheers was the gravy slurping as nine Major League Eaters and four local amateurs attempted to stomach as much poutine as they could in 10 minutes.


The winner downed 13 lbs!!
