If he had only asked us first, we could have saved him all this aggravation.

All I see is RR playing the game trying to round them up a new way without the kicking and screaming part. Really lame. :gomer:

Working for the Hulman-George family would be like working for the Adams Family. Except that the H-G's are much less normal than the Adams'. And less intelligent. And less talented. And less generous. And ten times as exasperating.

I hope they are paying you well, Randy.

You just don't know what Iowa and Kansas mean.. or meant.. or whatever, but enough about the difficulties in finding promoters interested in paying a sanctioning fee...LOOK (http://www.autoweek.com/article/20100812/IRL/100819940) everybody, Special ED is BACK!

Randy Bernard - We lost 15-20 million fans during the late 90's and we have to get them back

Randy's plans for reshuffling the deck chairs always seem to come up well short of being able to cover all the scorched earth. :gomer:

Unless somebody invents a time machine and takes us back to the early 90s, it's all ****ing over.

15-20 million

He's taking the best ever TV rating from the 500 and extrapolating that into the current potential open wheel fan base.

I see they brought Cotman back in as "project manager for the development of its 2012 technical program". The teams were getting concerned about the lack of any actual technical specs for the '12 sled.

Wait.... :saywhat:

Sure, the ICONIC deal was a predetermined scam rather than a cold eyed analysis of the technical and fiscal merits, but is there nothing there other than the 3D equivalent of a cool car drawing on the cover of a spiral notebook? I guess no one involved expects the crapwagon MkII to turn a wheel, so why burn the man hours?

Oh man, the ******** piled up so fast at 16th & Georgetown you needed wings to stay above it.

They should have brought him back to run the racing and told Brainfart to go away. As long as that sack of manure is running things they won't have any credibility with anyone serious.

You would not believe how hard I am working on this. Next stop, 1988.

Just turn it back to 1992 and fix both CART and IMSA GTP. :)

Yes, preferably at gun point and with an "or else" since now we know exactly what the alternative is. :irked:

After I get the DeLorean working, I'm still headed for 1988, but it will be no trouble to drop people off at 1992 if they like.

Any other stops I'll need to make?

Guessing from wikipedia, probably the last week of March 1959. Shall I take George Clooney back with me to distract his mother? or would Marty McFly be sufficient?

If you perfect this thing, what's the cost to take me back to about 10 minutes before my first girlfriend and I got busy? :D

You mean Calvin? He's probably all that's needed. You can leave George Clooney here please. :)

A bottle of Wild Turkey should be more than enough.
