View Full Version : The Foyt Futility Watch -- Indycar Grand Prix of Snorecoma
This weekend we need to start off with a track diagram. NASCAR doesn't race on the full circuit and neither does the IRL. Of course, it wouldn't do to have the IRL on the same shortened course that the tin tanks use, so Indycars make their appearance on the motorcycle course, which is shown in black. This does, of course, make it very difficult to compare Indycars to any other four wheeled motorsport at this course. But that doesn't really matter since the cars look bog slow here no matter what.

It would be much better, from an entertainment standpoint, to have them chug up into the turn 11 hairpin like the cabs do. Picture Milkers trying to navigate that while being passed on the right and left at the same time. :thumbup:

It would be better if they just cancelled it.
I'd love to see the Sunday nite sportswrap highlights of all those IRL ovalmeisters going into Turn 11 eleven instead of short cutting at 11a.

The prob with having those cars go into the hairpin at 11 is that they'd exit out of it from guest services.
They could paint the outside barrier and call it the famous Wall of Bricks.
So, I guess they won't be using parking lots 6,7,8,9 & 10?

So, Forbes says the Woman Wonder of the Wacing World is the #4 top paid female athlete at 12mil. $/yr. behind Sharapova, Venus and Serena. Says her avg. 30th place finishing position in NASCAB has really upped her takehome! THAT really ought to pack 'em in this weekend! Just shoot me.

Yup, who needs Dan Gurney, Mark Donohue, Mario or any of the rest of them when they got Danicle who barely qualifies for journeyman driver status after all these seasons. Like Wiley Quixote posted in a different thread, "just one gimmick away from total success..." :shakehead
