RR announced months ago that the initials IRL were to be phased out. Once again, a HUGE non-event that is supposed to gladden the hearts of all open wheel fans.

Absolutely. That was the strategy when Tony Hulman ran the USAC Trail by proxy and that was TG's strategy as well, make sure that their race remained a giant among midgets. Me first, everyone else last.
It will always be the EARL to me..... :gomer:
