Yeah, they weigh around 2kg and two of them would fit on your lap. The generator sets they power weigh around 20kg. They will run on anything from kerosene to diesel to french fry drain. :cool:
Compared to a piston engine generating the same amount of electricity they are 20% of the weight, flexible about what they drink and have 3 times the service life.
