Heh. Misspelled "Melloncamp" on the tacky windshield shade on what's supposed to be John Mellencamp's 'vette.

Nice collection, though.
My first thought on looking at the collection was that for all that money he could have bought some really nice cars. I didn't notice that was Bob McDorman's collection (local Chevy dealer for those who don't know). That explains the questionable taste and tacky windshield stick-ons. I suppose it's better than "$9,995!!!!" written in shoe polish.
Hard times in the McDorman household?
Here's a more complete listing. There is some nice hardware in there from before everyone should have realized there's no good reason to hoard Chevys.

Hard times in the McDorman household?
I think he's retiring, but as a Chevy dealer, what do you think? He supposedly reduced his collection from 400 cars (some first in the production series) to 150 in this auction (with some celeb cars being auctioned as well.

Not a Chevy guy, but the Mitchell and Earl styling studies are significant if they're legit. The GS knockoff doesn't suck, either, although I'm not knowledgeable enough to know how correct it is at a glance.
Really, though, windshield shades? :saywhat:
