If you're using a newer Macintosh and are as utterly clueless about chatting as I am you can get it to work using a nice bit of freeware called Colloquy. It was simple enough to get going.

I used irc.blitzed.org and it figured out PORT: 6667 by itself.

It works just fine on OS 10.6.4.


if you're not sure how to join:

go to http://cgiirc.blitzed.org/

Change your username to your offcamber nickname(so we know who's who)

And change channel to #offcamber
