Flipping channels the other day and for some reason landed on a NHRA top fuel finals. I was a casual viewer of NHRA back in the early 90's and was surprised to see so many names from all those years ago still racing. When I heard Paul Pages voice I remembered that he had moved over to drag racing after CART. What really surprised me and gave me a little pang of racing nostalgia was when Page threw it down to the pits to our old Gary Gerould! The two of them talking about dragsters was somewhat surreal. Kinda of funny.
Was Sally Larvick on the announce team? ;)
I thought Parked on your Johnson was part of that crew still

Yes and RPM Tonight's John Kernan is usually in the pits as well. Parker was great on those broadcasts, he's been off the team for a few years.
John Kernan does Sportcenter updates on AM1000 (ESPN Radio) in Chicago.

I was at Englishtown for Friday events the day before Kalita died there. Since that event and especially since they shortened the track, I just haven't been into it very much.
Still some bad ass scary fast shat and about all there is of that in racing anymore. And ESPN does a pretty good job covering it.
