Any hot new must-haves for the kids or the kid-in-all-of-us?

I like the kinect, it's actually a spooky m-fer, with the facial recognition thing. It started to call me "Dave". :confused:

Anybody familiar with the various tablets that are out? I have seen a few non-Apple tablets showing up for way less than Job$ version. Anybody looking at them? My dad seems to think he needs one.

What's on your Santa list this year (beside the peace and goodwill crap)??

So I hope. Trying to convince teachers that 50+ iPads isn't the answer right now is getting tedious.

Android tablets I've seen so far require 3G. No Thanks. Plus, the Android OS boss has stated that Froyo (android 2.2) isn't optimized for a tablet. I'm still waiting, I'm also a notoriously late adopter (some might say cheap bastard). :D
