I want to get my parents a wireless surveillance system for their front door. They have double glass doors with etched design on them. there are areas with in the design that are just clear glass and my mom doesn't like to go to the front door when someone rings the bell because they can see in. She doesn't want to cover them though because she likes the light that comes in. they have an intercom system but she doesn't like to use that when dad isn't home (yes, sounds a little paranoid but here in FL in the HOA communities the door bell rings 3 or 4 times a day from the palm tree trimmers/landscapers/mowers looking for jobs...and these guys are rough.).
Single camera, preferably with its own portable monitor. Anyone here have experience with these units and can recommend one brand over another. In my few minutes of research, I see split opinions on the sub $200 units. Uniden seems to get pretty good reviews. I'd like to not go over $300.
