The newest re-release is the best looking and perhaps most "authentic" version in recent years. White with blue skunk stripes and very good detailing paint on the the front end.

If you are a Ford racing fan it is really worth the buck to put this on your desk.

I'm still hoping that the Chaparral 2G will be reissued in white some day. I've only got the metallic pink Barbie edition. :(

Toys-R-Us is still there but I prefer my local shops unless what I'm looking for is the mass market stuff that the local shops can't get because they can't afford a TEU of each item.

I'm so tired of Toys-R-Us. Just so much low end crap. This year I would just love it if A. C. Gilbert would descend from heaven and give my son a chemistry set. The one in the wooden box with the really good brass microscope.

I haven't been there in years, they used to have some pretty rare stuff now and then. Now it's the obscure dime stores and old-school shops that have good finds tucked away.
