They're not movies, per se, but I still love to watch the Garfield Christmas special and Emmett Otter's Jug Band.

Original Grinch

Elf has made it to the top of the list in our house. "Not now Artic Puffin" can be heard several times a day.

I am sure A Christmas Story will be there once the kids get to see that one.

Personally, I love Olive the other Reindeer. :gomer:

Fred Claus is my new favorite. Paul Giamatti's Santa is amazing! The guy is a brilliant actor.

A Christmas Story is still at the top of the list. Followed by our yearly viewing of A Charlie Brown Christmas and Opus & Bill, A Wish for Wings that Work.

 Berk is God. (my handle comes from a strip he did long ago)

Back OT...A Year w/o a Santa Clause (Heat Miser and Freeze Miser) :D
Die Hard (and now I have a machine gun. ho, ho, ho) :gomer:
For traditional moves, you can't beat Holiday Inn, White Christmas or Miracle on 34th Street.
Of course A Christmas Story and Elf make it in the rotation as well.
I'm just thankful the girls have graduated from watching Frosty 11 times a week. Die, Frosty, Die!

Christmas Story, of course

Nightmare Before Christmas

The Desk Set (Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy)

Jingle All the Way (We watched this with my mom and dad the year before dad died and he thought it was funny, so I have a soft spot for it now)

Scrooged, definitely. Bill Murray's speech at the end always makes me teary-eyed.

Don Quixote

The Desk Set (Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy)Good call! I forgot about that one.

White Christmas is outstanding. They don't make movies like that anymore.

On a somewhat related note, Time Warner Cable has the Yule Log on a loop on one of it's on-demand channels.

Perhaps they can switch out the local Fox and ABC channels with the yule log once the contract expires after 12/31/10. :saywhat: Apparently they have secured Fox programming if the impasse stays as is...gotta love Big Fox giving it to little Fox (Sinclair).

One of my wife's favorites. that movie just proves that to be a "star" in those days you had to be able to sing, dance and act, and be good at all three.

From the "I wish it was on dvd" files, it's a Muppet Family Christmas, where Jim Henson brought together the Muppet Show & Sesame Street for one giant Christmas spectacular. And it has this awesome scene where the Swedish Chef tries to cook Big Bird for dinner.

I don't like "It's a Wonderful Life." It's too sappy for me.
