Is that a California plate on that pink POS? Do those *****oxes actually get driven on the street or are they just "art"?

There is no way on earth you could drive those on the street here, they would high-center at every intersection. I don't see how you could get those things on a trailer without using a crane for that matter. Do those noses disconnect?

So from the land that gave us made-up-make-believe-all-show-no-substance racing -- drifting, we get made-up-make-believe-all-show-no-substance race-like cars.
And I thought nothing could look dumber than drifting.
I would be more than happy to spend this waste of money for them.
And I thought nothing could look dumber than drifting.
Well there's always the possibility that these things also drift. :yuck: :D
I think they are the Japanese equivalent of rat rods.
So similar...and yet sooooo different.
from wiki:
The first bōsōzoku were known as kaminari-zoku (雷族 "Lightning Tribes"). Many, if not most, of bōsōzoku came from a lower socioeconomic class and may have used the motorcycle gang activities as a way to express disaffection and dissatisfaction with Japanese mainstream society. Many of the most hard-core bōsōzoku would become lower-ranking members of the Yakuza after turning 20 years of age.
Bosozoku also have a distinct style of car modification, eponymously called "bosozoku style". These cars are often modified with large exhaust pipes, bright paint, and large aero kits, the latter modelled on Group 5 “Special Production Cars” of the 1970s.
A google search for more photos turned up this image. :D

So if you ingest a vast quantity of Japanese low quality illicit drugs you will look at this:

After visiting a website advertised on the back of one of the cars, I can say I lend my full support to this movement.
