Sprint cars, Sydney.Welll, I guess he didn't actually get arrested but police were called after "the 39 yr. old race driver hit a 46 yr old race driver in the face with his helmet." Hmmmm, can't tell if the helmet was being worn at the time or exactly whose helmet it was or what led to the altercation, but SOMEbody was really pissed! Details from our mates DownUnder?:)

Tony Stewart allegedly had an angry conversation with quarter share track owner Brett Morris over track conditions. Morris really rankled him and so Stewart through his helmet at him and stormed off. Morris came after him and gave him a black eye for which Stewart returned the favour and left Morris with a broken nose. Allegedly.


FWIW Morris has form. He's currently banned from driving midgets in Australia until such time as he pays the governing body of the sport a fan that I think exceeds 10k for bringing the sport into disrepute.
