With HD Theater dropping WRC for 2011, we in the US have to rely on underground feeds, torrents, and various youtube channels to feed our hunger for a bit of rallying. For those who haven't yet heard, the WRC got kicked off this weekend in Sweden and I found a youtube channel that uploads every day of the coverage including the new for 2011 "Power Stages" which are special stages that are shown live around the world and award points to the top 3 in that stage. Live rallying is just so much better than the highlighted versions we have been used to for as long as I can remember so I suggest you check it out!

With the new regulations there are now brand new cars with 1.6 liter turbos and less electronic aids like paddle shifters and center differentials so the cars are harder to drive and rely more on driver instinct and less on how much money your manufacturer is pumping into your team. With all this change it levels the playing field and allows privateers to fight for wins again. I provided a bit of info on the 2011 season below so you can catch up on what's new.
