The main stands are on the front straight so all you see are the cars seemingly lumber by (they appear as if they are going about 60mph). then they disappear behind you to navigate the turns and you pick them back up when they reach the straight again.

So apparently Honda found the flags from Mid-Ohio in a warehouse or something and thought "Hey why waste all that money on flags that say St. Petersburg on them when these have our logo on them too?" Some of them weren't even Honda flags they just had midohio.com on them! It says as lot about the state of the series when their 2nd biggest sponsor won't even chip in to pay for some new flags. Elsewhere on the track there were tons of ads for the Acura Sports Car Challenge...from 2009. :laugh:

Yeah....makes perfect sense. They are advertising an August 2011 Mid-Ohio race in March, when their other race, Toronto, suffers for attendance and exposure AND is one month earlier than M-O, while neither are to be seen on ABC.

Im still heartbroke but it was a gutsy call and thats what they had to do to get Danica some track position. She ran a great race despite her finish.

Had she started dead last in that race, not passed anyone, not been involved in any of the crashes and simply tooled around at the back keeping out of the way, she\'d have finished 18th, so I\'m struggling to see how finishing 17th constitutes a great race.
