Harold Camping's workers don't believe him and will continue business as usual Saturday during doomsday.
What a business it is!
The Oakland-based nonprofit has raised more than $100 million over the past seven years, according to tax returns. It owns 66 radio stations across the globe and was worth more than $72 million in 2009.
As The End nears, donations have spiked, a board member says, enabling Family Radio to spend millions of dollars on more than 5,000 billboards.

Well, lets be honest here. I'm sure his non-profit has upped their donations and contributions since his announcement was made. Wonder if his non-profit board will up his salary for bringing the word of God to more people with this stunt...err, revelation.

Fill up thousands of blow-up "party" dolls with helium and set them a-flyin'.

My daughter has a state championship tourney lacrosse game Saturday afternoon. I sure hope we get it in. It's already been postponed once because of rain.

On another (non-racing) website I visit often someone suggested that when Campings prediction doesn't come true that he should just have his staff tell the press once they call that he has been Raptured and can't take questions.

Don't bother...I can confirm that The Rapture will indeed occur tomorrow since the Sun has appeared today. :saywhat: :gomer: ;)

Is there an ETA on this Sat?
Since I'm working, I need to know if I need to report this on my Time Management form

6pm in your local time zone. So by the time you wake up tomorrow, Cam & Friends in Aus/NZ should be able to report whether or not there is a rapture.

I told my Korean co-worker that he should call some of his family members to confirm. He said he would call his brother who is a priest and if he answers the phone, there is no rapture. I then told him that Catholics don't believe in this sort of rapture, so we ran out of ideas.
Isn't this the same guy who said the world would end in 1999? I used to listen to his radio show but kind of fell off after he started making end time predictions.

Thanks cameraman. That's the date. He'll have to do some more recalculations, I'm guessing.

His prediction sounds like an R.E.M song. Maybe he's a fan. They even have the time right and predate his predictions. :D

Well it seems all is fine and dandy on the East Coast. Unfortunately due to a freak line up of poor governments it hasn't actually got past 1981 here in Adelaide so I'll tell you in 30 years time if the rapture has happened

I dunno, if the world is ending later today, maybe I'll slack off today. I'll badger Trevor to mow the lawn tomorrow.

How someone can be 'deeply disappointed' and 'crestfallen' at the news that, by his numbers, 99.9711% of the earth's population didn't die a hideous death frankly strikes me as more than a bit psychopathic. The day that I'm wrong and 99.9711% of humanity isn't obliterated is a very good day indeed, but apparently I'm not as good a Christian as he is.
Rapture delayed until 21-Oct. :gomer: :saywhat:

Well, actually, Camping says that out of God's benevolence, He has spared mankind the five months of suffering and that the world will just end on Oct 21. He says "the calculations were correct, it was in the interpretation"
I just need to think of a way to profit from this. Or the Mayan "cosmic inversion".
Harold Camping suffered a mild stroke and is resting comfortably. Here's an article on a show he's done recently. http://www.christianpost.com/news/ex-followers-of-harold-camping-voice-anger-on-family-radio-50691/
