I read the Texas race got a 0.4.
Looks like the Vision is in full swing. :gomer:
What network was that on? Didn't CART get that on SPEED for the Milwaukee race?
That was the ESPN telecast.
Laguna and the Pikes Peak races got .8's on Sunday.
It took forever for the Texas numbers to get out the public. One of the races the lemmings cream about and it can't even get CARTonSpeed cable only numbers.
And the Vision is 'winning' -- go figure:shakehead

TF is strangely quiet about the ratings for their last two races.

Both races last weekend got a 0.8 rating. Nobody is watching Open Wheel racing in the U.S.

You'll notice they've started a board specifically for racing business and attendance threads.
And of course the rationalizatons come quick. The latest is that the NBA Finals had its lowest rating since '81 and the golf tournament didn't do well either, so it's only natural that the IRL won't do well either because all sports are down.
But neither the NBA nor the PGA need sponsors to fund their players, auto racing does. Lemmings are in constant denial over the "growth" of the IRL. If one looks at things that can actually be empirically measured, it's clear that the IRL hasn't added a single net fan since 1996 and has, if anything lost fans-to say nothing of Indy and the shambles it was in this year with Fill Day and another rating lower than the previous year's.
But don't tell that to a Lemming. All is well in their world. Tony has a Vision, y'see.

Yea, might as well call it the 'Wilke Forum'.
