The driver's seat in my Subi is falling apart. It's a 16 year old fabric seaty and it is just plain dead and gone. I'm getting stabbed by wires. It is a fully manual seat, no motors, heaters etc. Since any junkyard seat would also be 16 years old I don't see that as a viable replacement option. So where does one go to replace a car seat?

Any auto upholstery shop can fix and recover in the luxurious material of your choosing.
Rich Corinthian leather, perhaps.

Ah Ricardo. That man had class. Agreed about the auto upholstery shop. They did wonders when TravelGuy had an ancient ride with a bench seat, broken down on the driver's side only. As a stopgap you might check the seats from a junkyard. They might be the same age but maybe not the same amount of wear and tear. You know, owned by a little old (98 pound) grandma who only drove it to church.
