Well for the 4th straight year my Dad, brother and I made the short trek to the Lime Rock ALMS race. It's always a good show and the track itself is gorgeous so we had to do it again. I was out there with my new camera lens (a graduation gift from my parents, thanks for that BTW) and here are the results! I'm still a bit rusty but I managed to get some nice keepers.

I would love a print of that one (and to know at what stage of the race that frame was shot) so I could have it signed.

The Ferrari F50 and the Ferrari 250 were really cool to see. I like how no matter where you went, there was always something worth seeing. All the car corrals were packed and there were other exotics everywhere. Really great atmosphere!

I like Photo 31. Nice front shot of a prototype without it's body panels. :thumbup:

Also, the grid walk at Lime Rock looks like a lot of fun. The one at Laguna Seca is usually so constricted between the pit and outside walls it's hard to even see the cars let alone take a picture.

Thanks! You really should go. It's by far the most beautiful track I've ever been to, and I've been to Road America twice! RA has great woods and forests but it lacks the mountains. Watkins Glen is nice too but the mountains all around and the park like atmosphere of Lime Rock just sets it apart from the rest.
