Hey, the other thread isn't getting many hits, so I'll start one here.
http://www.windsorsummerfun.com/race.html
As some of you know, The ChampCar Stars of Tomorrow Karting Series, will be coming to Windsor, Ontario (beside Detroit) for a racing weekend down at the riverfront during the 45th Annual International Freedom Festival.
The racing weekend (June 27-29) takes place on a CART free weekend, after Portland and before Cleveland. Being part of the Freedom Fest, the event is free to the public, and is expected to be a highly attended event. The course, using city streets and the festival plaza on the riverfront, is a 1.6 km/1 mile course, with 2 levels of racing. (the festival plaza part is actually about 15 feet lower than the city streets)
If you think you might be able to come for a day or the whole weekend, give me a shout by pm or to this thread, and i'll try and send some info on what to expect and such.
There is alot more to do in Windsor to add to the fun of the weekend. Check out www.windsorsummerfun.com for all the Freedom Fest events. Plus of course we have the casino, bars, strip bars and probably every other thing you'd probably want.
Hope to see some of you guys here. :)
