Watched two excellent documentaries this past week I had to share.
The first, Position of the Stars, follows an impoverished family in Indonisia. The second is Which Way Home. The story of central American migrant childrens quest to reach America unacompanied riding on the back of a Mexican freight train they call " the beast" . Both are powerful films that have stayed with me, dare I say haunting. Highly recommended.

New one is out, if I wasn't so loaded from debt from buying too much gear and trips out of town I would go tonight.
Revenge of The Electric Car. From the maker of Who Killed the Electric Car, he had cooperation from all the manufacturers, after he let them know he wouldn't Roger and Me any of them.

Denis Leary involved in film on Detroit FD and how they are coping with the all the problems plaguing the city.
Burn (http://www.detroitfire.org/support-the-film/)
As expected with Leary, far more than a film about squirting water.
Michael Rapaport's: Beats, Rhymes and Life- the travels of A Tribe Called Quest (http://www.sonyclassics.com/beatsrhymesandlife/)
I caught it in a nearby town's old, small, artsy theater, (upstairs from an indie bookstore), about a month ago.

Hbo. Watched them both again tonight. Just as good as the first time. I love documentaries but I can't help but notice they all use the same sound track.
