View Full Version : Allan Iverson's Bank Account
Hmmmm, looks like he doesn't have one! Earning 154 million $$ since '96, NOT including endorsements and other investments, wasn't enough. Too loyal to the "people who made him." Looks like they unmade him, too. Time to sell some of Mama's jewelry?
No, really. Spent LARGE amounts on it. When in debt make more money, spend less or sell off assets. He was unable to pay a $670,000 bill to a jeweler.

Comedian Chris Tucker's tax troubles are mounting.
State officials in Georgia have filed a demand against the "Rush Hour" star for $592,594 in unpaid taxes, according to new documents obtained by TMZ.

Tucker already owes more than $11 million to the Internal Revenue Service for federal tax debts stemming from the years 2001, 2002 and 2004 through to 2006.
The actor's latest bill takes Tucker's total tax debts to a staggering $12,164,504.

Jermaine Dupri has settled a tax debt with state authorities.
Last year, the music mogul was accused of owing more than $250,000 in back payments to tax officials in Georgia.

He has now settled the debt, but ended up paying nearly double the original amount due to interest and penalty charges, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports Dupri has handed over nearly $500,000 to pay off the total bill.
Dupri has suffered numerous financial hardships over the last few months, including the repossession of his luxury sports car after he allegedly fell behind on payments, and the foreclosure on his home in Atlanta.
The IRS is obviously a racist entity and should be put out of business

14. Jaime Pressly
So far 2011 has been rough for this actress, what with a DUI arrest and a divorce. But the former "My Name Is Earl" star was already dealing with financial problems stemming from an alleged debt of $637,000 to the government. Here's to a better 2012. Or a least a better accountant?

Lil Wayne
Who would have guessed that a guy with that many face tattoos would have disorganized finances? After paying off the $1.13 million to the government in December 2010, the rapper was told that he owed an additional $5.6 million. Gosh, with bills like that, Lil Wayne might not be able to afford to dress like the dapper gent we've grown to know and love.

Dionne Warwick
The jokes about her psychic support network just come too easily when you're discussing the $2.2 million Warwick allegedly owes the State of California. Warwick was among those named in 2009 as being among the top ten worst debtors in the chronically underfunded state. Warwick has since pledged to do her best to pay back the money.

Marc Anthony
When it was reported that the singer allegedly owed $3.4 million in taxes, E! News guessed that paying off the debt was what prompted his superstar wife, Jennifer Lopez, to become a judge on "American Idol." Marc Anthony previously had to make amends with the IRS in 2007, when he paid them $2.5 million in back taxes.

Nas
In January the rapper was reportedly in the hole with the IRS to the tune of $6 million, which, even for a major music star, is no mere drop in the bucket. You'd think signing onto a record label would come with a mandatory class in personal accounting and how taxes work -- or at least how to better hide your cash.

Nicolas Cage
The good news first: As of last December, Cage has paid off some of his debt -- $360,545 of it, no less. But there's bad news too: He still has around $14 million to go. According to TMZ, Cage blames a bad business manager for causing the financial ruin that has resulted from his failure to pay the proper taxes for the better part of the last decade.

Wesley Snipes
He's probably the celeb whose financial woes have gotten the most media attention. And with good reason too. Not only does he owe an alleged $15 million in unpaid taxes, but he's also going to jail because he can't seem to pay. On December 9, 2010, Snipes entered a Pennsylvania correctional facility, where he will remain until 2013. So hold your breath for that fourth "Blade" movie if you want, but just be prepared to hold it for a very long time.

Paul Hogan
You may wonder what the "Crocodile Dundee" star has been doing these past few years. Well, according to the Australian government, he sure hasn't been paying his taxes, because he owes somewhere around $37 million. The dispute, which began in 2008, reached such levels that in August 2010, when Hogan returned to Australia for his mother's funeral, officials prevented him from leaving until the debt could be settled. Hogan insists he's innocent and that he's paid "plenty of tax." Haven't we all, Mr. Dundee?less
And, lest we forget...Jeremy Mayfield has 2 mil. $ in bills, $109,000 behind property taxes, posession of stolen property and foreclosure on his 388 acre property. Going to court. Says NASCAR and the govt. are conspiring against him. Good luck with that one.

When he gets out he does not owe the money? That's stupid. Taxpayers have to pay probably 50k a year to lock him up on top of lost tax revenue. Why not seize his assets and make him do some s***** job for four years instead of prison. Some smart person has to come up with a better way to punish white collar crimes.

No, he will still be paying for decades and they already seized just about everything he owned of value and sold it off.
