GA pricing? Or put another way, how much does it cost to walk in and sit in the dirt with the fireants and scorpions?

Just when construction was coming along far enough to get me thinking this race will actually come off.

At those prices maybe this year but as soon as people have done it once, maybe twice the novelty won't justify those prices, especially a PSL.

PSL suck, but can work for something like football where people want season tickets year after year for their home team and games tend to sell out.

Racing is entirely different IMO.

Pretty obvious "take the money and run" scheme. Who do they think they are, Bernie ?

Remember that Ecclestone needs three things to race: A track, fences and a garage. He does not care much about the rest. He has, after all, called the race attendees the “studio audience”—his money is made through sponsorships and television.

Don't know who you are quoting but he just hit Montreal with a $15 million grocery list of facility upgrades if they want to keep the race. He wants fancy digs for his studio audience.

presently it calls for almost all parking at remote lots miles away, with fans bused in on official shuttles, which apparently won’t be free.

Ya think anyone will be pissed when they pay $1500 (PSL) + $750 (ticket) + parking (150) and then they get stuck in traffic and miss part of the race.

Do any other F1 tracks have PSL's for all their seats or is it just an American form of extortion?

It might be cheaper to rent a plane and parachute in on race day. :shakehead

I've never heard of such a thing. I had to google it to find out what it meant. When you buy a ticket here you choose your stand and usually get offered a selection of available seats in it.

It's been a trend over here for awhile especially with new stadiums for our football that generally has high attendance and sold out stadiums of primarily season ticket holders.
