Charles Pic at the top of the leader board after fp2:rofl:
So, nobody else made it out of the pits? I have to go back now to that "Biggest Surprises in F-1" topic and post this.:)

Should be interesting. Lewis not happy as he ran the old rear wing and Jenson won pole with new wing.

Pastor Maldonado moves back from third to sixth place as a punishment for impeding Nico Hulkenberg in Q1.
Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg both get gearbox-change penalties, so drop from seventh and 18th respectively to 12th and 23rd.

That pass by Kimi on M$chu was electrifying.

I have no idea what you are talking about but 42 years ago the track was entirely different.
And the stewards gave Romain Grosjean next week off for his mad overtaking skilz demonstration this afternoon...

If I've done my maths correctly, the race in 1970 was also 90km longer.
28 laps x 14.120 = 395.36km in 1:38:10.1 in 1970
44 laps x 7.004 = 308.176km in 1:28:09.530 in 2012

I'm not sure Lewis has the mental toughness today that he had four years ago. Strange, that.
Lucky nobody was decapitated.
Button was Vettel-in-2010 dominant.
Podium interviews are TERRIBLE!!

At some point Whitmarsh is going to decide he's not worth it.
Wasn't comparing the track configuration, C'man. Well aware they are different. Speed is speed and thinking of those guys back in 1970 racing at a higher avg. than what I saw THIS year was pretty interesting. That's all I was talking about, just an interesting stat.

Podium interviews are TERRIBLE!!
They would not be so bad if they had a professional journalist do the job instead of an ex-racer.:shakehead

Buxton's reference to that on Speed was hilarious and nobody picked it up it seemed:
"Lewis was asked to delete some of his tweets about the car due to his references to the World Trampoline Federation"

Ohh my God, Jackie Ickx was painful to watch. I was screaming at him like spit it out already!

There is a reason the Stig only drives and never talks...
During coverage of previous races this season they would do a story about the progress of the Circuit of the Americas. I don’t remember seeing it this week. Did I miss it?
They showed the main grandstand straight

Because racing drivers have very small brains.
I see Maldonado will have a grid penalty at Monza for jumping the start and for contact with Glock. Formla1.com (http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2012/9/13741.html)
Best timed F-1 start I've ever seen! He's innocent, I tell you. INNOCENT! Of course he effed it all up later anyway.
