Dale Earnhardt Jr. will not compete in the upcoming NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway after being diagnosed with a concussion following the Oct. 7 race at Talladega
Have at it, boys. :gomer:

Since when do they do concussion testing in NASCAR? Oh, they don't. He got hurt in tire testing in August and didn't see a doctor until days after his Dega crash this week.
When did CART start baseline testing drivers at the beginning of the season using the IMPACT system, and then after every shunt? About 10 years or more ago?

Rub some dirt on it and get back in there.

OR he hasn't been tested at all but they needed a good excuse to make him sit after he dared to criticize pack racin' & rekkin' in Sunday's "race."
Smell that glove, Junior.

Rub some dirt on it and get back in there.Seems to be the attitude.
Now that I think about it, at least in my state, there is hardly not a HS athlete who is not baselined at the beginning of the season and then tested using IMPACT after any hit suspected of causing a concussion.
Only the poorest schools refusing to use available state aid to buy IMPACT systems don't do it.
I guess NASCAR would rather just rub dirt on it.

This. And it comes with the added bonus that it also explains his comments: The boy was con-cussed and talking crazy!
