very cool
Lance Armstrong is not impressed. He just tweeted:
@Lance Armstong:Red Bull Stratos sucks. I've fallen farther faster with nothing but the sweat of my brow and the dope coursing through my veins. Livestrong.

I'd say it was taken during one of his myriad test jumps.

I'd say it was taken during one of his myriad test jumps. Now that's a boring, low-tech answer. :gomer:
Watched with the kids - and we were glued to the TV. I was a little nervous when he started to spin.
When they saw he was back on on the ground, their next question was when can we go see the capsule and his gear in the Air and Space Museum in DC. I'll assume it will find its way there - at least as a special exhibit.

I was a little nervous when he started to spin.
On some other board I post on when the whole subject of the jump first came up one of the posters piped up with "I have jumped for years and you know with as little air as he is going to have up there if he introduces even a little unintended spin there is going to be nothing to stop him." When you watch him drop it looks like he was trying to not make any kind of any unnecesary movement.

Chuck Yeager retraced history on Sunday, 65 years to the minute, as the first test pilot to break the sound barrier, taking to the skies once again to fly faster than the speed of sound.
The 89-year-old Yeager broke the sound barrier in a U.S. Air Force F-15 at 10:24 a.m. over the Mojave Desert, the same location where he first flew past Mach 1 on October 14, 1947, the military said in a statement.

I want the Fathead. :gomer:
Saw one interview this morning where Yeager was asked, "who was a better pilot, you or Scott Crossfield?" The General's reply?..."WHO? Never heard of 'im!"

That's nice. So realistic, it's almost like I've seen it before.
