Where does #53 Herbie go for tune-ups now? :(
I absolutely loved Herbie movies and Buddy Hackett when I was a kid. :(

How ironic. I was just watching the original Love Bug on the Hallmark Channel (I think thats what it was, I was flipping through channels and came upon it) last night. I watched that movie so much when I was a kid. They are showing the sequel tonight at 9 (that one sucked, and so did the one where they went to Mexico), and on Wednesday they are showing the one where from Monte Carlo. That one was my favorite.
Buddy was always one of my favorites. He never failed to make me smile. Will never forget when he appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Happy times.
Buddy Hackett also had a great supporting role with Robert Preston in The Music Man.

Hey, I know how to work on those things.
Awwww bummer. :(
Sure seems like we've been losing a lot of the greats the last couple years.
Honestly, I thought he was already dead. I will never forget seeing him on Carson, half in the bag, talking about group sex at Plato's Retreat. Carson was blushing...... cause he had been there as well

Like Redd Foxx, he could play it clean and be funny, or he could get dirty and be hilarious. The comedians and character actors from that era were in another league.
Sorry to see him gone. :(

RTKar was apparently overcome with grief when he remembered that Buddy Hackett died last year. :D
